What’s Against Your Skin?

In the past decade, the rise of information about the benefits of organic food has driven many people to begin buying organic products for their homes. The farmers that dedicate themselves to producing organic crops are very serious about being fair to the environment and people. Reports show that cotton crops are the second largest user of pesticides in the world. That means 25% of the world’s insecticides and 10% of the world’s pesticides are dedicated to cotton. Four of the top nine pesticides used in treating cotton are considered by the EPA to be highly carcinogenic. These chemicals include cyanide, dicofol, naled, and propargite.

When crops are sprayed with these chemicals, it is estimated that only about 25% of the chemicals are absorbed into the crops, the rest end up drifting and settling miles away on other crops that are intended for human consumption. To make a long story short, buying organic cotton products like organic cotton towels, T-shirts and baby clothing, supports organic farming methods, which in the long run decreases the use of harmful chemicals and the pollution they cause.

I have a great shirt for you that is soft and comfortable and comes in all sizes!  It is made of organic cotton, is very soft, and won’t stick to your skin like some synthetic materials.  Visit my website at http://www.ecofriendlysolutionssite.com/category/16479697 and choose the Terry Polo Shirt in either the light or dark natural organic cotton and enjoy!

Need Extra Seating?

There are many ways to get around the issue of living in a small space. Apartments are getting so expensive these days, and for many young people just starting out, it’s necessary to live in a smaller space that is affordable. That means learning how to decorate within space and financial constraints. Living on a budget and in a tiny apartment can be a challenge, but it doesn’t mean that you need to live in a bare room.

The first thing you’ll need to do when decorating your apartment is to figure out what furniture is necessary and what is not. You will probably have to choose a chair or a loveseat instead of a full-size couch. If you still feel like you are short of seating you should keep a few comfy floor cushions tucked away in a cabinet. Floor cushions can provide seating for several people and create a casual environment for conversation. A floor cushion can also serve as a colorful decoration.
